This directory does not publish its own star ratings. Independent trader feedback lives on aggregator platforms, and this page is a guide to reading it critically rather than a restated score.

Why reviews go wrong

  • Selection bias. Traders who pass and get paid are happier and louder than those who fail or are refused a payout — the aggregate rating is filtered by who bothered to write at all.
  • Affiliate-driven "reviews." Many widely-shared reviews are written by affiliates whose income depends on referrals. Treat anything ending in a discount code as marketing first.
  • Survivor effects. An older firm can look better rated simply because its dissatisfied cohort stopped posting years ago. Date the reviews you read.
  • Coordinated campaigns. Both incentivised positive waves and brigaded negative ones happen. A sudden spike in review volume is a reason to look closer, not to trust the number more.

What a high-signal review looks like

Low signal: "Worst firm ever, total scam, 1 star." No account size, no dates, nothing to verify.

High signal: "Passed the $50K 2-step in March, first payout of $1,840 approved in two days, arrived in five business days. Second payout was flagged for a consistency-rule breach — that was on me for not reading the rules." Dated, specific, and separates the firm's behaviour from the trader's own mistake.

Weight reviews in proportion to how much checkable detail they contain, and read the 1–3 star band on any platform, not just the average.

Where to look

  • Trustpilot — general-purpose, high volume, but easy to incentivise.
  • PropFirmMatch — prop-firm-specific, pairs reviews with rule details.
  • Myfxbook — forex-focused, with verified trading-account history.
  • Public forums — r/Forex, r/Daytrading and futures-specific communities surface payout disputes with real dates and context.

Before trusting any rating: read at least ten reviews across the range, filter to the last 6–12 months, and cross-check rule claims against the firm's current published terms rather than the review's quote of them.
